CVE-2026-102600
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-wfpm-5gcm-94cg ↗EUVD-2026-88981 ↗
description
@socket.io/cluster-engine 0.1.0 is affected in clustered deployments when it handles attacker-controlled session identifiers. A remote attacker may cause the Node.js process to crash, resulting in denial of service; applications that do not use this package are not affected by this issue.
mitigation
Upgrade @socket.io/cluster-engine to version 0.1.1. Until then, reject suspicious session identifiers before they reach the cluster engine and limit session-related requests to trusted infrastructure.
fixed in 0.1.1
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
