CVE-2026-102479
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-ch7p-g5pm-3gqx ↗EUVD-2026-101557 ↗
description
Vert.x Core versions 5.0.0 through 5.0.12, 5.1.0 through 5.1.9, and 5.2.0 mishandle certain HTTP/1.x header names during normalization. An attacker able to send requests to the affected decoder may use this behavior to smuggle HTTP requests.
mitigation
Upgrade io.vertx:vertx-core to 5.1.10 or 5.2.1. Move deployments on 5.0.x to a fixed supported release.
fixed in 5.1.10, 5.2.1
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
