CVE-2026-102276
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-6j4f-fj2g-mc7p ↗EUVD-2026-88550 ↗
description
brace-expansion versions before 1.1.19, 2.1.5, 3.0.7, and 5.0.10 can exhaust the Node.js native stack while parsing specially formed brace patterns. An attacker may terminate a process when the application accepts untrusted patterns directly or through globbing components that use brace-expansion.
mitigation
Upgrade brace-expansion to 1.1.19, 2.1.5, 3.0.7, or 5.0.10, as appropriate for the maintained release line. Until upgraded, do not pass untrusted brace or glob patterns to affected parsing paths.
fixed in 5.0.10, 3.0.7, 2.1.5, 1.1.19
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
