description

Eclipse BaSyx AAS Web UI versions v2-241220 through before v2-260924 can send configured authorization credentials to an external endpoint. An attacker who can persuade a user to open a malicious Web UI link may obtain credentials usable with the victim's access level when the deployment uses authentication.

mitigation

Upgrade Eclipse BaSyx AAS Web UI to v2-260924. Until upgraded, restrict user access to untrusted Web UI links and limit outbound browser access to approved AAS service origins.

fixed in v2-260924
