CVE-2026-100354
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-g8cf-rcjf-c8cf ↗EUVD-2026-102162 ↗
description
kin-openapi versions before v0.149.0 can recurse without bound while validating requests, responses, or schemas containing circular allOf, anyOf, or oneOf references. An attacker can terminate an affected process by reaching a cyclic schema during runtime validation, provided the application accepts an attacker-controlled specification or deploys a specification with such a cycle.
mitigation
Upgrade github.com/getkin/kin-openapi to v0.149.0 or later. Until upgraded, reject or remove circular allOf, anyOf, and oneOf schema references from OpenAPI specifications used for runtime validation.
fixed in v0.149.0
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
