CVE-2026-100353
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-vrcc-3ch7-hppw ↗EUVD-2026-102163 ↗
description
kin-openapi versions before v0.149.0 can panic while validating OpenAPI 3.1 requests that use array schemas without an items definition. An unauthenticated client can trigger request-validation failures or, where panics are not recovered by the host, terminate the process. Applications are affected when they use openapi3filter with such query parameters or URL-encoded request-body schemas.
mitigation
Upgrade github.com/getkin/kin-openapi to v0.149.0 or later. Until upgraded, ensure array schemas used by request validation define items and recover panics at the request boundary.
fixed in v0.149.0
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
