description
Windows Message Queuing Queue Manager is affected on the listed Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server releases. An unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to run code if the vulnerable queue manager is operating and reachable over the network.
mitigation
Install Windows updates that bring each affected release to its listed fixed build or later: 10 1607/Server 2016 10.0.14393.9612; 10 1809/Server 2019 10.0.17763.9376; 10 21H2/22H2 10.0.19044.7807; 11 23H2 10.0.22631.7652; 11 24H2 10.0.26100.9711; 11 25H2 10.0.26200.9711; 11 26H1 10.0.28000.3231; 11 26H2 10.0.26300.9711; Server 2012 6.2.9200.26434; Server 2012 R2 6.3.9600.23470; Server 2022 10.0.20348.5761; and Server 2025 10.0.26100.33650. Until patched, restrict network access to systems running Message Queuing.
fixed in 10.0.14393.9612, 10.0.17763.9376, 10.0.19044.7807, 10.0.22631.7652, 10.0.26100.9711, 10.0.26200.9711, 10.0.28000.3231, 10.0.26300.9711, 6.2.9200.26434, 6.3.9600.23470, 10.0.20348.5761, 10.0.26100.33650
