description

The listed Exynos processors, wearable chips, and modems are affected. An attacker able to repeatedly send control-plane traffic to an affected device can disrupt or crash its baseband service.

mitigation

Apply the October 2026 security update supplied for the affected Exynos device or modem. Until updates are deployed, limit untrusted access to cellular and control-plane interfaces where operationally feasible.

fixed in October 2026

automationDeterministic: a check that runs on its own, the same request on every target. Contextual: an agentic technique that needs to be applied per target, for bugs that depend on contextual flows.
