description

Sharp and Toshiba Tec-rebranded multifunction printers are affected by an unauthenticated local file inclusion issue in a web-accessible manual-download endpoint. An attacker able to reach that endpoint can read files outside the intended manual content, potentially exposing configuration data or credentials.

mitigation

Restrict access to the printer web interface to trusted administrative networks and isolate affected devices from untrusted networks. Monitor for unusual requests to the manual-download endpoint; no fixed version is recorded in the supplied advisory data.
