description

AiSOC versions before 12.0.0 can construct CrowdStrike RTR commands from unescaped action parameters. An attacker able to submit action parameters or create a relevant playbook step may cause unintended commands to run on targeted endpoints with the EDR agent's privileges; applicable workflows may require action approval.

mitigation

Upgrade AiSOC to version 12.0.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict access to action-dispatch APIs and playbook authoring, and review or disable affected CrowdStrike RTR actions where practical.

fixed in 12.0.0
