description

The listed Exynos chipsets and modem components are affected by incorrect processing of NAS DLTransport messages. An attacker able to supply a relevant message may be able to crash the device baseband. The available evidence does not define the exact access requirements for delivering such a message.

mitigation

Apply the July 2026 security update supplied by the device or chipset vendor for affected Exynos components. Until updated, prioritize devices exposed to untrusted mobile-network environments and keep them on supported vendor firmware.

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
