CVE-2026-115377
validatingZero is analyzing and reversing it now.description
Affected Incus releases can mishandle filesystem content received during a migration. A malicious migration source may cause files to be written on the host, potentially with elevated privileges. The attacker must be able to act as, or control, a migration source accepted by the target.
Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.
mitigation
Update Incus to 6.0.7, 7.0.2, or 7.5.0, as appropriate for the deployed release line. Until updated, disable or tightly restrict migrations from untrusted sources.
fixed in 6.0.7, 7.0.2, 7.5.0
outcome
Run in progress: no artifact yet.
