description

Traefik versions before 2.11.58 and 3.7.14 can bypass SNI-based client-certificate enforcement for protected routers. An unauthenticated remote client may reach those routers without a client certificate when Traefik is built with Go 1.27 and processes affected TLS HTTP/2 requests.

mitigation

Upgrade Traefik to 2.11.58 or later in the 2.x line, or 3.7.14 or later in the 3.x line. Until upgraded, restrict exposure of client-certificate-protected routers and avoid affected Go 1.27 deployments where feasible.

fixed in v2.11.58, v3.7.14
