description

MikroTik RouterOS through 7.24.5 is affected by a WebFig session-token replay issue. An attacker who has captured a valid session token can reuse it on a different connection to bypass authentication and obtain administrative access.

mitigation

Clear the RouterOS token store to revoke potentially captured tokens, and limit or disable WebFig access from untrusted networks. Restrict management access to trusted administrators until a vendor-fixed release is available.

outcome

Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
