CVE-2026-110756
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.description
Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 can emit malformed CSV when printing records that combine a UTF-8-marked field with invalid UTF-8 data at the end of a record. An attacker able to influence such exported data may cause records to run together or alter how later CSV data is parsed; the issue requires the application to use the affected print path.
mitigation
Upgrade Text::CSV_XS to version 1.65 or later. Until upgraded, validate or reject invalid UTF-8 in data passed to CSV printing, particularly in mixed-encoding records.
fixed in 1.65
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
