description

iStoreOS 24.10.7 and earlier is affected by code injection in task_id handling within tasks-lib.lua. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code without authentication. Exploitation requires network access to the affected service.

Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.

mitigation

Restrict network access to the affected iStoreOS service to trusted administrative networks and block untrusted access while awaiting a vendor update. No fixed version is recorded in the advisory.
