description

Malcolm releases before v26.09.0 expose a file-upload endpoint that can make requests to network locations reachable from its upload container. An authenticated user with upload-capable access can use it to access internal service responses and probe reachable network services.

mitigation

Upgrade cisagov/Malcolm to v26.09.0. Until upgrading, restrict access to the file-upload endpoint to trusted administrators and limit the upload container's network reachability.

fixed in v26.09.0
