description

miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications through version 5.5.8 can allow unauthenticated login as a WordPress account, potentially including an administrator account. Exposure requires both OTP-only login and delayed OTP verification to be enabled, and the targeted account must be within its configured delayed-verification period.

mitigation

Disable delayed OTP verification or turn off OTP-only login until a vendor-fixed release is available. Review these settings immediately and invalidate or monitor privileged sessions where the affected configuration was enabled.
