description

OpenClaw Windows Node versions before 2026.7.1 insufficiently restrict execution-approval rules. A remote caller able to use the approval-setting interface may expand permitted execution and run commands on the Windows host without operator interaction.

mitigation

Upgrade OpenClaw Windows Node to version 2026.7.1 or later. Until upgraded, restrict remote access to the approval-setting interface to trusted administrators.

fixed in 2026.7.1
