description

Mistune versions before 3.3.4 can use disproportionate CPU while parsing malformed Markdown link syntax. An unauthenticated attacker may stall a worker by submitting crafted Markdown where untrusted input is rendered.

mitigation

Upgrade Mistune to version 3.3.4 or later. Until upgraded, restrict or limit untrusted Markdown rendering to reduce exposure.

fixed in 3.3.4
