description

orval before 8.29.0 can emit an OpenAPI operationId without safe string encoding into generated TanStack Query mutator-options code. An attacker who can provide a crafted OpenAPI specification may cause JavaScript to execute when an affected generated hook is called, if a queryOptions or mutationOptions mutator with a third argument is configured.

mitigation

Upgrade orval to >=8.29.0 or later.

fixed in >=8.29.0
