CVE-2026-93494
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-ghg5-c4jg-8q5j ↗EUVD-2026-82745 ↗
description
Applications using the affected Netty STOMP codec can retain a buffer after a client sends a frame body but does not complete the frame terminator. A remote client can repeat this behavior across connections to consume process memory and eventually impair availability. The condition is reachable when the application accepts STOMP traffic, including before application-level authentication.
mitigation
Upgrade io.netty:netty-codec-stomp to 4.1.138.Final or 4.2.18.Final, as appropriate for the deployed release line. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted STOMP access and limit connection churn where possible.
fixed in 4.1.138.Final, 4.2.18.Final
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
