description

Real Cookie Banner: GDPR & ePrivacy Cookie Consent for WordPress is affected through version 5.3.5. An unauthenticated attacker may cause script to run in a visitor's browser by submitting a comment that is later approved and shown on a page.

mitigation

Disable or restrict public comments, and carefully review or remove untrusted comments before they are published on affected sites. Monitor for a vendor update and apply it when a fixed release is available.
