CVE-2026-92940
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-5843-9mh5-hhgw ↗EUVD-2026-81590 ↗
description
vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 can expose host HTTPS request state to code running in a NodeVM. An attacker able to run sandboxed code with the https builtin enabled may access host traffic or credentials and use them for authenticated actions when the host relies on the default HTTPS agent.
mitigation
Upgrade vm2 to version 3.11.7 or later. Until upgraded, do not allow https in untrusted NodeVM code and use dedicated HTTPS agents for sensitive host requests.
fixed in 3.11.7
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
