CVE-2026-92871
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-98gg-48ph-mg6c ↗EUVD-2026-89675 ↗
description
Pgpool-II is affected by a NULL pointer dereference in its watchdog process. An unauthenticated remote attacker may cause the watchdog process to terminate; no attacker credentials are required.
mitigation
Apply a vendor or distribution security update for Pgpool-II when one is available. Until then, reduce exposure by limiting untrusted network access to Pgpool-II and monitoring the watchdog process for unexpected termination.
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
