description

Affected ASP.NET Core runtime packages can mishandle request boundaries after an HTTP/1 client connection is aborted. A remote unauthenticated attacker may cause remaining request-body data to be processed as a separate request, potentially enabling request tampering; exposure requires an affected Kestrel server accepting HTTP/1 traffic.

mitigation

Update the applicable Microsoft.AspNetCore.App.Runtime package to 8.0.32, 9.0.21, 10.0.13, or 11.0.0-rc.2. Redeploy applications after updating the runtime.
