CVE-2026-85015
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-q6fg-7vp2-c3xp ↗EUVD-2026-91937 ↗
description
Unlimited Elements for Elementor versions before 2.0.21 improperly handles file paths when extracting uploaded archives. An authenticated user with asset-management access can write files outside the intended upload directory, potentially leading to server-side code execution when the PHP ZIP extension is unavailable. Administrators have this access by default; Editors may have it if a non-default setting enables it.
mitigation
Upgrade Unlimited Elements for Elementor to version 2.0.21 or later. Until upgraded, restrict asset-management access to trusted administrators and avoid configurations that grant it to Editors.
fixed in 2.0.21
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
