description

Hotel Booking through version 3.8 fails to enforce ownership checks when users access booking records. An authenticated low-privilege WordPress account may view other customers' booking information, including personal contact and address details.

mitigation

Restrict or remove untrusted WordPress accounts and limit access to booking data to staff who require it. Apply a vendor update when a fixed Hotel Booking release is published.

Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
