description

UTMStack versions earlier than 11.2.16 do not enforce authorization for commands submitted through the command WebSocket handler. An authenticated user, including one without a privileged role, may cause commands to run on connected monitored endpoints; exploitation requires access to an authenticated UTMStack account and a connected agent.

mitigation

Upgrade UTMStack to version 11.2.16 or later. Until upgrades are complete, restrict access to authenticated UTMStack accounts and limit agent connectivity to systems that require monitoring.

fixed in 11.2.16
