description

Affected HPE NonStop ANSI SQLUTIL deployments may be susceptible to service interruption from remote requests. An unauthenticated attacker may be able to make the affected service stop; network reachability to the service is the stated precondition.

mitigation

Restrict network access to SQLUTIL and prevent untrusted remote clients from reaching the affected service. Monitor HPE advisories and apply a vendor-provided update when one is released.
