description

HPE NonStop QIOMON is affected by an out-of-bounds memory-write flaw. An attacker with the required access, where user interaction occurs, may corrupt buffer data and affect system integrity or availability.

mitigation

Restrict QIOMON access to trusted users and networks, and reduce opportunities for untrusted input to reach the service. Monitor HPE guidance and apply a vendor update when one is provided; no fixed version is recorded.
