description

HPE NonStop SNMP Trap Multiplexer is affected by a remotely reachable memory-corruption vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker able to reach the service may trigger a condition that disrupts availability; the evidence does not establish confidentiality or integrity impact.

mitigation

Restrict network access to the Trap Multiplexer to trusted management hosts and isolate it from untrusted networks. Monitor HPE advisories for a corrected release, as no fixed version is recorded.
