CVE-2026-73550
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-qgf6-qvhw-4hvh ↗EUVD-2026-84111 ↗
description
Envoy releases before 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1 may consume excessive memory while handling HTTP/2 requests containing duplicate authority-related headers. An unauthenticated client that can reach an HTTP/2 listener can cause the Envoy process to terminate through memory exhaustion.
mitigation
Upgrade Envoy to 1.39.1, 1.38.4, 1.37.6, 1.36.10 or later.
fixed in 1.39.1, 1.38.4, 1.37.6, 1.36.10
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
