CVE-2026-71184
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-7w2r-xwp6-mh6c ↗EUVD-2026-101098 ↗
description
Gitea versions before 1.27.3 can fail to enforce maintainer approval for Actions workflows associated with fork pull requests. An attacker who can trigger affected pull-request review events may cause workflow code from a fork to run on the base repository's runners without the expected approval.
mitigation
Upgrade Gitea to version 1.27.3 or later. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted users' ability to create or interact with fork pull requests and review events that can trigger Actions workflows.
fixed in 1.27.3
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
