CVE-2026-68956
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-qhcm-px9c-rvfh ↗EUVD-2026-84339 ↗
description
Affected Erlang/OTP SSH daemons can allow an authenticated client to create enough inactive session channels to exhaust Erlang VM memory and interrupt services on the node. An attacker needs valid SSH credentials and network access to the daemon; elevated privileges are not required.
mitigation
Upgrade OTP to 29.1.1, 28.5.0.7, 27.3.4.18; ssh to 6.0.6, 5.5.2.6, 5.2.11.13 or later.
fixed in 29.1.1, 28.5.0.7, 27.3.4.18, 6.0.6, 5.5.2.6, 5.2.11.13
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
