description

Veeam Backup & Replication is affected by an arbitrary file-read vulnerability on the service provider host. An authenticated Cloud Connect tenant may be able to read arbitrary files; exploitation requires valid Cloud Connect tenant access.

mitigation

Restrict Cloud Connect tenant access to trusted users and isolate service provider hosts from sensitive files and systems. Monitor vendor updates and apply a supported fixed release when Veeam publishes one.
