description

Qexo versions 4.0.0 through versions before 4.2.0 allow an unauthenticated requester to reset the instance's setup state through an initialization API. An attacker who can obtain a CSRF token from a public page may force the setup flow to reappear and potentially expose provider configuration, including service credentials, in frontend content.

mitigation

Upgrade Qexo to version 4.2.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted access to the affected instance and its setup-related endpoints.

fixed in 4.2.0
