description

Countly countly-server versions before 24.05.50 and 25.03.44 are affected by path traversal in the data-migration deletion route. An authenticated administrator or user with migration permission can delete writable files or directories outside the intended import area, causing data loss or disruption.

mitigation

Upgrade countly-server to 24.05.50 or 25.03.44. Until upgrading, restrict migration permission to trusted administrators and limit access to the data-migration feature.

fixed in 25.03.44, 24.05.50
