description

WP Maps versions before 4.9.7 contain an AJAX file-inclusion flaw caused by missing capability checks and insufficient path validation. An attacker with a WordPress Subscriber account can cause existing local PHP files on the server to be included and executed.

mitigation

Upgrade WP Maps to version 4.9.7 or later. Until upgraded, restrict or remove untrusted Subscriber accounts to reduce exposure.

fixed in 4.9.7
