description

@apostrophecms/import-export import routes process chunked-upload operations before enforcing the import user check in affected releases. An unauthenticated remote attacker can consume upload storage and filesystem-processing resources, potentially degrading service. The affected import routes must be reachable by the attacker.

mitigation

Upgrade ApostropheCMS to 4.33.0 and @apostrophecms/import-export to 3.7.0 or later. Until upgrades are complete, restrict access to import routes and require authentication before chunked-upload processing.

fixed in 4.33.0, 3.7.0
