description

ThinkCMF through 8.0.1 can improperly authorize restricted backend administrators for administrative REST functions. An attacker with a valid admin-type API token may access sensitive member information, modify member accounts, or elevate administrative privileges.

mitigation

Revoke or tightly restrict admin-type API tokens for limited administrators, and limit access to the administrative API to trusted networks and accounts. Upgrade to a vendor-confirmed corrected ThinkCMF release when one is available.
