CVE-2026-111122
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-gq9v-x5r6-qvc7 ↗EUVD-2026-102675 ↗
description
SiteOrigin CSS for WordPress through version 1.6.7 can retain attacker-controlled link content that executes script in a visitor's browser during Visual Inspector use. Exploitation depends on approval of a malicious comment and an administrator opening the inspector and following the embedded link.
mitigation
Disable the SiteOrigin CSS plugin or avoid using its Visual Inspector until the vendor provides a corrected release. Review and remove untrusted approved comments, especially those containing links.
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
