description

Excelize versions 2.8.1 through 2.11.0 can recurse without bound while resolving cyclic dynamic-array formulas that use ANCHORARRAY. An attacker who can provide a workbook that the application evaluates can cause the process to terminate; evaluation may occur directly or through workbook-processing APIs that calculate formulas.

mitigation

Update github.com/xuri/excelize/v2 to 2.11.1-0.20260911060113-ea12859e43c6 or a later release. Until upgraded, avoid evaluating formulas from untrusted workbooks and isolate such processing.
