CVE-2026-106164
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-3g99-jr36-v2mm ↗EUVD-2026-94545 ↗
description
SpreadProcessing versions earlier than 2026.3.1006 are affected when they import a malformed XLS document. An attacker who can cause such a file to be processed may consume a CPU thread indefinitely and disrupt service.
mitigation
Upgrade Telerik Document Processing SpreadProcessing to version 2026.3.1006 or later. Until upgraded, restrict or isolate processing of untrusted XLS files.
fixed in 2026.3.1006
outcome
Mechanism verified: the exploit fired on the vulnerable build and stayed silent on the patched one, but the server it ran against was ours, so no check ships for it.
