description

SixLabors.ImageSharp versions 2.1.0 through 4.1.1 mishandle buffer capacity while encoding one-bit TIFF images with CCITT Group 4 compression. An attacker may cause memory corruption and process termination when an application decodes an attacker-supplied Group 4 TIFF and re-encodes it using inherited TIFF metadata.

mitigation

Upgrade SixLabors.ImageSharp to version 4.1.2 or later. Until upgraded, avoid re-encoding untrusted TIFF files with inherited CCITT Group 4 and one-bit settings.

fixed in 4.1.2
