description

Payload 3.x releases before 3.90.0 and 4.0.0 canary releases before 4.0.0-canary.34 are affected by inefficient handling of malformed multipart requests. A remote party that can submit a malformed multipart request to the application can drive prolonged processing and consume server resources.

mitigation

Upgrade Payload to version 3.90.0 or later, or to 4.0.0-canary.34 or later for canary deployments.

fixed in 3.90.0, 4.0.0-canary.34
