description

Phproject versions before 1.8.7 do not consistently enforce issue-level access controls in certain REST API issue operations. An attacker who possesses a valid API key may view restricted issue details and comments, including associated email addresses, or add comments to issues they are not permitted to access.

mitigation

Upgrade Phproject to version 1.8.7 or later. Until upgraded, restrict and rotate API keys where practical to reduce exposure.

fixed in 1.8.7
