description

AUTOM8N WHM/cPanel plugin installations containing borg_restore.cgi through commit 82821f7 are affected. An unauthenticated attacker able to reach the affected endpoint may execute operating-system commands on the host.

Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.

mitigation

Restrict network access to the affected WHM/cPanel plugin and disable the borg restore functionality if it is not required. Upgrade to a vendor release that replaces the affected code when one is available.
