CVE-2026-104057
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-mg2r-35f6-8r8h ↗EUVD-2026-91004 ↗
description
Podgrab's WebSocket handler can access shared connection and player state concurrently without synchronization. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the /ws endpoint may crash the service, requiring an operator to restore it.
mitigation
Restrict access to the /ws endpoint to trusted clients and enforce WebSocket connection and request-rate limits at a reverse proxy or network boundary. No fixed version is recorded; monitor the service and prepare to restart it if it terminates.
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
source signals
