CVE-2026-103043
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-phc2-88rx-x2mp ↗EUVD-2026-89484 ↗
description
anchorme through 3.0.8 is affected by a regular-expression denial-of-service issue in IPv6 host extraction. An attacker who can submit text for anchorme to process may cause excessive regular-expression work that blocks the Node.js event loop and disrupts other requests.
mitigation
Avoid processing untrusted input with affected anchorme versions, or impose input length and processing-time limits before invoking it. Monitor the project for a fixed release and upgrade when one is published.
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
